Following AINDT’s successful accreditation transition to ISO9712:2012 we feel that it is important to update industry on standards development regarding ISO9712 and AS 3998:2006 

a) The latest Australian Standard, AS/ISO9712:2014 is a direct text adoption of ISO9712:2012 and therefore AINDT certification meets and in places exceeds the requirements of both these standards. 

b) Any Australian Standards (SAI Global) references to AS3998:2006 will show it has been superseded by AS/ISO9712:2014.
