AINDT Launch Computer Based Theory Exams

Category: AINDT News

The future of AINDT exams has arrived!

The much-anticipated Computer Based AINDT Theory Exams were successfully launched on Friday 17th December 2021. The first round of exam candidates experienced the new Computer Based Exam program whilst sitting their MT L2 General and Specific examinations held at ATTAR’s Melbourne office.

The new computer-based exam program has been years in the making, with AINDT working closely with ATTAR to rollout the (now-tested and proven) successful, new approach to running theory-based AINDT exams.

The launch of the computer based exam system is one step closer in the direction of a “greener” future for AINDT and all our AQB’s. This is a significant move towards a paperless future for AINDT exams and we could not have done it without the enormous support, effort, planning and guidance from the team at ATTAR.

A key feature of the system is the detailed reporting and exam metrics that will enable the AINDT to better manage and evolve the exam database.

The technology and new approach to sitting a theory- based exam via touch screen had been very well received with instant feedback already coming through from exam candidates; loving the “easy to use user- interface”, “clear layout of multiple-choice questions” and “great technology”.

As we welcome this new technology, we are open to feedback during this transition period and look forward to rolling out more AINDT Computer Based Exams to all our AQB’s during 2022… all whilst saving a tree, one computer-based exam at a time.
