Working Background and AINDT Interests Michael started his NDT career as a trainee technician in 1990 obtaining the four base qualifications and also weld and pressure equipment inspection qualifications. He has progressed through the industry from technician to
supervisor, owning an NDT company and branch/state manager. During this time he has been able to work across a large range of fields including; structural works, pressure equipment, piping, refineries, offshore platforms and FPSO’s etc. Michael has also been involved in quality roles for some of the larger oil and gas companies working on small to large scale projects in Australia.
Michael has been a member of the AINDT for approximately 20 years and on the AINDT Federal Council for the past four years both as a SA/NT representative and now a WA representative council member.
