Thermographic_Pest_Inspection-updated 6/09		This module meets the training requirements for qualifications in Thermal Imaging Pest Inspection Under AS4635/ISO 20807 “Qualification or personnel for Limited NDT”.
Procedure & Instruction Guidelines		This document provides guidance to AINDT Authorised Qualifying Bodies (AQBs) concerning the content of NDT instructions given to level 1 candidates, and the content of NDT procedures given to level 2 candidates together with the relevant standard, code or specification.
General Engineering (Level 1) Module		This module meets the competence requirements for Level 1 personnel in the general engineering industrial sector in accordance with AS3998-2002/ISO 9712:1999

Tank Bottom Testing		Persons for qualification need to be able to describe and to demonstrate the basic principles of tank floor examination procedures using magnetic flux leakage [MFL] techniques.
Eddy Current Testing Level 3		The purpose of this module is to provide an learners with the knowledge to be a competent Level 3 person to assume the responsibilities of a AS3998/ISO9712 or AS3669 industrial NDT facility.
Ultrasonic Testing Level 3		This module meets the competence requirements for Ultrasonic Testing at Level 3 in accordance with AS3998-1992. To gain certification, persons must meet the minimum requirements of AS3998/ISO9712
Radiographic Testing Level 3		This module meets the competence requirements for Radiographic Testing at Level 3 in accordance with AS3998-1992. To gain certification, persons must meet the minimum requirements of AS3998/ISO9712.
Penetrant Testing Level 3		This module meets the competence requirements for Penetrant Testing at Level 3 in accordance with AS3998-1992. To gain certification, persons must meet the minimum requirements of AS3998/ISO9712.
Magnetic Particle Testing Level 3		This module meets the competence requirements for Magnetic Particle Testing at Level 3 in accordance with AS3998-1992. To gain certification, persons must meet the minimum requirements of AS3998/ISO9712.
Multisector Processes & Process Discontinuities		The emphasis in this module is on the possibility of discontinuity formation in welds, castings and forgings and the NDT methods used to detect these discontinuities. The probable location and shape of discontinuities should be understood with a background knowledge of the various processes. It is not intended that students should become proficient in any of the manufacturing processes.
Eddy Current Testing Level 2 (EA605)		This module meets the training requirements for Level 2 qualification in eddy current testing under AS3998-1992 "Non-destructive Testing - Qualification and Certification of Personnel - General Engineering" and AS-3669-1989 "Non-Destructive Testing - Qualification and Registration of Personnel - Aerospace".
Liquid Penetrant & Magnetic Particle Testing Methods Level 1 (EA606)		To enable students to describe the principles and processes of liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing, and apply these techniques to defective components. This module fulfills the training requirements for Level 1 Certification for both Liquid Penetrant Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing in accordance with AS 3998 - 1992 "Non-destructive Testing - Qualification and Certification for Personnel - General Engineering".
Industrial Radiography Level 2 (EA610)		This module, in association with the module Radiography and Radiation Safety, meets the training requirements for Level 2 qualification in radiographic testing under AS3998-1992 "Non-destructive Testing - Qualification and Certification of Personnel - General Engineering" and AS-3669-1989 "Non-Destructive Testing - Qualification and Registration of Personnel - Aerospace".
Radiographic Testing Level 1 (EA611)		This module meets the training requirements for Level 1 qualifications in radiographic testing under AS3998 - 1992 - "Non-destructive Testing - Qualifications and Certification of Personnel - General Engineering".
Radiography and Radiation Safety (EA612)		This module meets the educational requirements for the issue of a radiation safety licence under the NSW Radiation and Radioactive Materials Act and, in association with the module Industrial Radiography (1144B), these modules meets the training requirements for Level 2 qualification in radiographic testing under AS3998-1992 "Non-destructive Testing - Qualification and Certification of Personnel - General Engineering" and AS-3669-1989 "Non-Destructive Testing - Qualification and Registration of Personnel - Aerospace".
Ultrasonic Testing Level 2 (EA613)		This module meets the training requirements for Level 2 qualification in ultrasonic testing under AS3998-1992 "Non-destructive Testing - Qualification and Certification of Personnel - General Engineering" and AS-3669-1989 "Non-Destructive Testing - Qualification and Registration of Personnel - Aerospace".
Ultrasonic Testing Level 1 (EA614)		This module meets the training requirements for Level 1 qualifications in ultrasonic testing under AS3998 - 1992 - "Non-destructive Testing - Qualifications and Certification of Personnel - General Engineering".
Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 (EA607)		This module meets the training requirements for Level 2 qualification in magnetic particle testing under AS3998-1992 Non-destructive Testing - Qualification and Certification of Personnel - General Engineering" and AS-3669-1989 "Non-Destructive Testing - Qualification and Registration of Personnel - Aerospace".
Penetrant Testing Level 2 (EA609)		This module meets the training requirements for Level 2 qualification in penetrant testing under AS3998-1992 "Non-destructive Testing - Qualification and Certification of Personnel - General Engineering" and AS-3669-1989 "Non-Destructive Testing - Qualification and Registration of Personnel - Aerospace".
Welds & Weld Discontinuities (EA697)		This module meets the competence requirements for NDT of Welds in accordance with AS3998-1992.
Castings & Casting Discontinuities (EA696)		The purpose of this module is to provide learners with the basic knowledge of founding principles in order to understand the reasons for, and likely location of, casting defects such as inclusions, blow holes, gas porosity and solidification shrinkage defects. It is not intended that learners will become proficient in foundry practices.
