a) To reinforce the principles, procedures and applications of weld heat treatment as outlined in the prerequisites
b) To develop the competency to undertake heat treatment in ferrous welded materials using electric resistance equipment.
c) To expand on existing knowledge of heat treatment procedures to include specialised set-ups and circumstances.

a) Introduction to Weld Heat Treatment (16hrs)
