Neil entered the NDT industry in January 2000 and has worked in a broad range of industries including power generation, oil and gas, mining, pressure equipment, castings and fabrication. He holds multiple ISO9712 L3 NDT certifications, welding and pressure equipment inspection certifications and was one of the first in the Australian NDT community to study at the University of Northampton, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Non-Destructive Testing. Further to this Neil has undertaken research and development activities and has had his academic papers accepted at international forums.

He has been extremely active within the NDT/AINDT community and is a current Director of the AINDT and a panel member of the Certification Review Panel, where for the last five years has been required to review certification applications on a weekly basis as part of the AINDT's certification process . Prior to the Director role he was a Federal Councillor and also held WA Branch President and Vice President positions. His other passion is the pressure equipment industry in which he is also a Director of the Australian Institute for the Certification of Inspection Personnel (AICIP).

Neil has contributed significantly whilst on the AINDT Board of Directors and hopes to continue to make a difference and help shape the NDT industry in Australia.
